Sarangani province with its 7 towns (Alabel, Glan, Kiamba, Maasim, Maitum, Malapatan, Malungon) borders South Cotabato to the North and Davao del Sur to the east, sits on a typhoon-free land of 4,400 sq kms of rich agricultural, marine and cultural resources offering budding tourism promise and enormous investment potentials. Advantageously located in the southernmost tip of Mindanao just beyond Celebes sea, it is highly accessible via the sea and air ports of General Santos City. From Davao, it is only about 2- 3 hours scenic drive via public buses or private vehicles on good roads.
