AMAZING THAILAND: Thai Dessert Museum

It’s like walking into a restaurant with no real food and it’s also like walking into a wax museum that’s filled with food. Confused? So was I when I first entered the Thai Dessert Museum.

The Thai Dessert Museum is, well, a museum for the sweet tooth. It showcases the history and replicas of over 100 famous Thai desserts. The replicas are made of resin and were skillfully crafted by followers of a Thai National Artist.

HOW TO GET THERE: the museum is a quick walk from the Amphawa Floating Market, it should be easy to find as it is in the office building of Amphawa Municipality. It is open on Fridays from 1-7pm and on Saturdays and Sundays 10-7pm.

  5. A different kind of museum where you're even allowed to take photos, add to that the no admission fee, how awesome is that!:-D Pero dapat me disclaimer at the entrance saying "Do not enter on an empty stomach." Buti na lang, the Amphawa floating market is righ outside the door para pag ginutom ka.
