The Thai Dessert Museum is, well, a museum for the sweet tooth. It showcases the history and replicas of over 100 famous Thai desserts. The replicas are made of resin and were skillfully crafted by followers of a Thai National Artist.
HOW TO GET THERE: the museum is a quick walk from the Amphawa Floating Market, it should be easy to find as it is in the office building of Amphawa Municipality. It is open on Fridays from 1-7pm and on Saturdays and Sundays 10-7pm.

ReplyDeleteHi Ann, thanks dear. And might we add, frustrating! Ginutom lang din kami ng bonggang bongga pero di naman pwede kainin hahaha. Had to rush out to find some real food, lots of it!
ReplyDeleteI'm planning to take my mum to Thailand someday. She'll definitely love this museum!
ReplyDeleteNice one, ang galing parang totoo, still very appetising. (Meron ba entrance fee dito?)
ReplyDeleteA different kind of museum where you're even allowed to take photos, add to that the no admission fee, how awesome is that!:-D Pero dapat me disclaimer at the entrance saying "Do not enter on an empty stomach." Buti na lang, the Amphawa floating market is righ outside the door para pag ginutom ka.
